Job Summary
Facilitate evening group therapy sessions within the IOP program, leading an average of two structured groups per night. Prepare and deliver evidence-informed content tailored to clients navigating mental health and substance use conditions. Maintain accurate documentation for each session, including progress notes and attendance records, while completing all required reports per compliance standards. Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure continuity of care and foster a safe, inclusive environment that promotes engagement. Requires active New Jersey licensure and a Master's degree in a related field. Schedule runs Monday through Friday from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Resilience Behavioral Health in Union, NJ.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field
- Active, independent licensure in the state of New Jersey
- Experience facilitating group therapy or psychoeducational groups in a behavioral health setting
- Strong documentation skills with the ability to complete progress notes and records accurately and on time
- Ability to engage and connect with a diverse client population in a group setting
- Knowledge of trauma-informed, evidence-based therapeutic approaches
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain professional boundaries and uphold HIPAA compliance and client confidentiality
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with IOP or similar levels of care
