Evening Custodian

Evening Custodian responsible for custodial services at assigned site to provide an attractive, sanitary and safe environment for students, staff and visitors; performs a variety of cleaning operations; assists in preparing facilities for classroom activities and campus events; assists with site snow removal; monitors activity around work areas for safety; operates cleaning equipment and performs building maintenance tasks (e.g., waxing/buffing floors, removing trash, maintaining bleachers, sanitizing areas after student incidents, changing filters and lights, etc.); ensures facilities are operational and hazard-free, responds to inquiries, and supports other site maintenance staff. Requires knowledge of industrial cleaning methods, safety practices, and chemicals; communicates with staff and visitors; ability to perform multiple tasks and work with diverse individuals.
