Job Summary
Evening Cook for a Brand New Facility: responsible for planning, preparing, and cooking nutritious meals for residents in a skilled nursing/medical setting. Duties include following planned menus and dietary guidelines, portion control, maintaining food safety and sanitation, coordinating meal schedules, monitoring inventory, adhering to recipes, collaborating with Dietary Managers, Nutritionists, and Dietary Aides, and contributing to menu planning and resident satisfaction. Must perform all duties with attention to quality, safety, and infection control, and participate in ongoing training and development.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1 year experience in a skilled nursing care facility or other medical facility preferred.
