Job Summary
Evening CNA Concierge provides personal care for residents under the direction and supervision of a Nurse, performing activities of daily living and assisting with resident care. Responsibilities include bathing, grooming, toileting, feeding assist, mobility assistance, bed and chair transfers, vital signs, documenting intake/output in the electronic health record, meal service, and ensuring resident dignity and rights. Must maintain turn schedules, observe safety and confidentiality, and participate in mandatory inservices and new-hire orientation.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a VALID CNA License
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Completion of high school education or otherwise show ability to read, write, and follow oral and written directions
- Must be certified in the state where applying or have successfully completed CNA training from a state- approved school and obtain certification within the first four (4) months of employment
- Must be capable of maintaining regular attendance as required
- Must be able to work weekend and overtime as required
- Must meet all local health regulations and pass postemployment exam, if required
- Must be able to relate positively and favorable to residents, families, and outside agencies and to work cooperatively with other associates
- Ability to present to groups
- Adhere to all Company and departmental policies and procedures
