Evening Care Specialist - Life Adjustment Program

Job Summary

Provide direct, unskilled personal care and hygiene assistance to adults with traumatic brain injuries, including bathing, oral care, incontinence management, dressing, grooming, and cleaning bodily fluids. Monitor residents during meals and assist with basic behavior management interventions for anger, redirection, and positive guidance. Maintain professional boundaries while communicating resident and staff needs, completing required documentation, and performing housekeeping duties such as trash removal and disinfecting equipment. Drive residents to and from offsite locations using handicapped-accessible vehicles when assigned to overnight shifts. Attend scheduled team meetings and in-service trainings. This role supports the Life Adjustment Program at Hilltop Community Resources in Western Colorado, offering part-time and full-time evening schedules from 2:45 p.m. to 11:15 p.m. with a starting wage of $19.00 to $19.95 per hour.

Required Qualifications

  • One year of related experience or two years of work experience
  • Minimum 18 years of age
  • Valid Colorado Driver's License
  • CPR Certificate/First Aid Certificate
  • Qualified Medication Administration Personnel (QMAP) Certification
  • De-Escalation Training
  • Hilltop's Transportation Certification
  • Tuberculosis (Tb) Skin Test
  • Influenza Vaccination
  • Any other required vaccination
  • Hilltop Criminal Background Check
  • CBI Records Check
  • Sex Offender Registry check
  • Driving Record check
  • Colorado Adult Protective Services Background Check (CAPS)
