Job Summary

The Evaluation Manager leads and collaborates across Foundation programs to guide development and execution of program evaluation and data collection activities. Responsibilities include embedding equity into measurement, guiding survey development, pilot designs, logic models, and data interpretation; conducting quantitative and qualitative analyses of program enrollment and follow-up surveys to identify patterns; contributing to data analysis planning; creating compelling data visuals; and explaining results to non-technical audiences. Requires 3+ years in designing/executing program evaluations, strong data visualization and communication skills, and effective cross-functional project management. Resume should include evaluation experience with emphasis on survey development, data interpretation, and data visualization.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in gerontology, public health, public policy, public administration or related social science field; or an equivalent combination of related training and relevant work experience
  • 3+ years of work experience in designing and executing program evaluations and performance measurement processes in philanthropic, nonprofit, public and/or private sector
  • Experience with quantitative and qualitative social science research methods, including the ability to clearly communicate the analysis and interpretation of evaluation results to a wide range of audiences in a clear and credible manner
  • Experience creating compelling data visualization products in PowerPoint and/or more sophisticated platforms
  • Strong project management skills with an ability to coordinate various groups and to manage multiple projects
  • Ability to communicate clearly and succinctly, both written and verbal, including public speaking and presenting data in compelling ways that are clear and get to the point efficiently
  • Evaluation experience must be included in resume. Survey development, data interpretation and analysis and data visualization are key skills
