Evaluation and Performance Senior Consultant (12-month FTC)

Evaluation and Performance Senior Consultant (12-month FTC) lead evaluation teams to deliver OECD/DAC-based evaluations, VFM/performance audits and organisational reviews for international donor clients. You’ll manage and guide teams of 3-7 analysts, work across assignments lasting from 1 to 24 months, and engage with MDBs, multilateral/bilateral climate funds and development banks. The role emphasizes conducting value-for-money and impact measurement work, applying rigorous evaluation frameworks, and delivering results that improve performance for clients across international development contexts. Strong English communication, a higher degree or professional qualification in relevant fields, and experience coordinating multi-person teams and client-facing deliverables are essential. The role sits within the Evaluation and Performance team of the IIDA department, supporting diverse clients including EU bodies and UN organisations, with a focus on building capability and delivering high-quality advisory services.
