Job Summary
Design and manage the office-wide evaluation framework, developing strategies including logic models and data collection instruments to guide program decision-making. Lead the full evaluation cycle from planning through reporting, synthesizing findings into accessible dashboards for university leadership and community partners. Co-lead the Carnegie Classification self-study process, coordinating data collection, writing application narratives, and ensuring alignment with institutional priorities. Collaborate with campus units to maintain centralized engagement data repositories and provide capacity-building support for staff. Contribute data-informed insights to strategic planning and represent the Collaborative in university-wide committees.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in a relevant field such as public health, social work, education, sociology, public policy, or a related discipline
- Relevant Experience (3 Years)
- A driver's license is not required for this position
Desired Qualifications
- PhD in evaluation, public health, social sciences, public policy, or a related field
- Demonstrated knowledge of program evaluation frameworks, logic models, theories of change, and mixed-methods research design
- Hands-on experience developing and administering data collection tools (surveys, interview guides, focus groups) and analyzing both quantitative and qualitative data
- Proven ability to synthesize data into clear, compelling reports and presentations for varied audiences including practitioners, leadership, and funders
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a track record of making complex findings accessible to non-technical stakeholders
- Demonstrated commitment to equitable, ethical, and culturally responsive evaluation practices when working with diverse communities
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple evaluation projects, timelines, and campus relationships simultaneously
- PhD or terminal degree or combination of education and experience may substitute for minimum education
