Job Summary
EVAC Assembler performs basic assembly and build tasks to support the fabrication department. Responsibilities include checking fit up of tank covers, assisting with Quality Control, tracking inventory for EVAC, performing pressurized air testing, and packaging tanks for shipping. Follows written procedures, uses power and manual tools, and applies calibrated gauges and torque devices. Adheres to Quality, Product Safety, and Health/Safety/Environmental/Energy policies and regulatory obligations; supports Integrated Management System policies and KPIs. Requires reading blueprints, mechanical aptitude, good organization/time management, and the ability to work on a busy shop floor while regularly lifting up to 50 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One to Two years of related experience
- Ability to read and understand blueprints
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with assistance
