Job Summary
Perform service, repair, and maintenance on electrical, mechanical, and integrated systems of electric autonomous vehicles. Diagnose nuanced mechanical, electrical, A/C, and autonomous vehicle systems, conduct complex hardware retrofits and replacements, and perform software and firmware updates. Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot complex issues, create repair orders, and accurately document diagnosis and procedures. Participate in fleet-wide hardware and software retrofits while following safety protocols and maintaining quality standards. Work in a mobile, outside, and shop environment with shifts Tuesday through Saturday from 2pm to 10:30pm.
Required Qualifications
- 4-8 years' of hands-on experience performing automotive vehicle maintenance and repairs
- Strong ability to diagnose nuanced mechanical, electrical, A/C, and AV/EV systems
- Experience with complex hardware retrofits and AV hardware replacement
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and automotive shop equipment (impact guns, lifts, jacks, etc.)
- Solid computer skills with a strong aptitude for learning new technology and software
- Excellent communication skills and ability to give/receive clear feedback
- A learning mindset and comfort working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Proven commitment to safety and high-quality work
- Ability to perform physical work
- Ability to successfully pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen
