European Revenue Controller

Job Summary
The European Revenue Controller will lead revenue accounting, reporting, and controls across European operations, ensuring compliance with local GAAP requirements. Responsibilities include owning the end-to-end revenue close process, supporting FP&A and providing insights on revenue performance. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting, relevant professional qualifications, and have over 5 years of experience in revenue accounting or controllership within a multi-jurisdictional environment. Skills in Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O, advanced Excel, and strong knowledge of financial controls and revenue recognition are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent qualification (preferred)
- 5+ years’ experience in revenue accounting or controllership
- Strong knowledge of GAAP/IFRS and revenue recognition
- Advanced Excel and Modelling Skills
- Strong understanding of financial controls, audit requirements, and compliance frameworks.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Systems-driven mindset with ERP expertise
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication
- Process improvement and automation focus
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
- Commercial acumen and business partnering capability
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in financial services, fintech, or regulated environments
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O)
- Experience managing multi-country or European operations
- Experience with Power BI or financial reporting tools
