European Inside Sales Team Leader, Biopharm

Job Summary
Lead and manage a high-performing European Biopharma inside sales team, driving lead generation and opportunity creation across Biopharma product portfolios to build the pipeline for the European sales team to exceed targets. Hire, train, and coach a team of Scientific Inside Sales Representatives; collaborate with Account Managers to progress opportunities from initial engagement to purchase order. Align with Sales, Marketing, Applications, and Product Management on buyer personas and value propositions; drive commercial excellence, data-driven execution, and customer engagement. Develop and maintain a comprehensive prospecting database (ICPs, existing/prospective accounts, and installed base) to identify cross-selling opportunities and ensure instrument and service contracts are in place. Define and deploy multi-channel editorial and communication strategies (LinkedIn, email, newsletters, webinars, digital marketing) to generate qualified opportunities and revenue growth. Develop high-value content with scientific, technical, and business-focused messaging to drive visibility and engagement. Implement KPIs and reporting tools to ensure activities translate into measurable business results. Fluency in English required; additional European languages are advantageous. Remote work in key European countries (Germany, France, Belgium, Switzerland, United Kingdom).
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Business, Life Sciences, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience
- Minimum of 10 years of international inside sales leadership experience within the Biotech/Biopharma industry
- Proven track record of success in capital equipment, consumables, and service contract sales
- Strong understanding of Biotech/Biopharma workflows, laboratory environments, procurement processes, and regulated industry requirements
- Demonstrated experience building, leading, coaching, and scaling high-performing inside sales teams
- Strong knowledge of CRM systems (Salesforce.com), procurement platforms, digital marketing tools, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and standard business software
