European Health & Safety Systems & Training Manager

Job Summary
Lead the development and harmonisation of health and safety management systems across the European veterinary network, driving digital transformation of reporting and analytics to improve decision-making. Design and deliver engaging, multilingual training programmes that support colleagues across different countries, cultures, and regulatory environments while strengthening compliance and risk management. Act as the central point of contact for pan-European HSE initiatives, partnering with local teams and senior stakeholders to build consistent standards within the HSRS function. This strategic individual contributor role supports the Petcare 2030 agenda and requires NEBOSH Diploma qualification, with a preference for locations in Amsterdam, Madrid, Munich, or Solihull.
Required Qualifications
- At least 8 years of experience in health, safety and environmental leadership roles
- ideally within a multi-site or pan-European environment
- Strong knowledge of European and UK health and safety legislation
- practical experience applying requirements across different jurisdictions
- Proven experience implementing and improving ISO 45001
- other relevant international HSE standards and management systems
- Demonstrated success in designing and delivering safety training programmes
- across different countries, cultures and regulatory environments
- ability to develop multilingual content
- NEBOSH Diploma
- or equivalent
- Willingness to travel across Europe as required
- able to build effective relationships with stakeholders across different markets and organisational levels
