Job Summary
Prepare and cook a variety of European dishes including soups, steaks, pizzas, calamari, pasta, risotto, and salads according to culinary standards. Operate grills, fryers, convection ovens, and sous vide equipment while ensuring aesthetic presentation and tasty ingredient combinations. Strictly adhere to hygiene standards for food handling, surface cleaning, and personal care. Work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required in a 7-day, 6-hour shift schedule. Provide accommodation and one meal, with transportation reimbursement based on residence location.
Required Qualifications
- Many years of experience (3-5 years) in the field of European cuisine
- Experience with grilling
- Experience with frying in fryers
- Experience with cooking in convection ovens
- Experience with ovens
- Experience with stewing
- Experience with sous vide cooking
- Good knowledge or specialization in European cuisine
- Knowledge of (seasonal) ingredients, their preparation and flavor combinations
- Self-initiative
- Creativity
- Ability to work in a team
- Accuracy
- Cleanliness
- Adherence to hygiene standards
- Knowledge of English
- Interest in learning the Slovenian language
- Strong communication skills

- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required in the hospitality industry

- Flexibility to work shift 11.00 – 19.00 hours
