Job Summary
Diagnose and repair vehicles for guests using ODIS, VCDS, or equivalent diagnostic systems while building experience across domestic and European makes. Perform full, accurate courtesy inspections and collaborate with the service department to troubleshoot concerns quickly and meet repair deadlines. Maintain high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization while working in tight spaces and lifting up to 100 pounds. This role requires 5+ years of professional automotive experience with at least 2 years specializing in European vehicles.
Required Qualifications
- Positive attitude and a desire to serve guest
- 5+ years of professional automotive technician experience
- minimum of 2 years specializing in European vehicles at a dealership or independent Euro shop
- Proficient with ODIS, VCDS, or equivalent diagnostic and programming systems
- Capable of diagnosing and repairing all makes/models of vehicles
- Aptitude for learning additional skills and processes
- Professional appearance and strong communication
- A desire for long-term career development
- Occasionally lift and/or move over 100 pounds
- Be able to work with tools on vehicles lifted above their head
- Work in tight spaces as dictated by the vehicle's needed repair
- Have the needed dexterity in order to efficiently use hand tools
- Walk/stand for the majority of their workday
- Drive manual transmissions vehicles
- Efficiently navigate a computer
