Job Summary
Diagnose and repair vehicles across domestic and foreign makes, focusing on European models with 5+ years of experience. Perform full, accurate courtesy inspections and troubleshoot guest concerns using ODIS or VCDS systems. Collaborate with the service department to meet deadlines while maintaining high safety and cleanliness standards. Lift over 100 pounds and work in tight spaces on lifted vehicles. Requires ASE certifications, proficiency in manual transmissions, and a strong desire to serve guests. Required Qualifications
- Positive attitude and a desire to serve guest
- 5+ years of professional automotive technician experience, with a minimum of 2 years specializing in European vehicles at a dealership or independent Euro shop
- Proficient with ODIS, VCDS, or equivalent diagnostic and programming systems
- Capable of diagnosing and repairing all makes/models of vehicles
- Aptitude for learning additional skills and processes
- Professional appearance and strong communication
- A desire for long-term career development
- Occasionally lift and/or move over 100 pounds
- Be able to work with tools on vehicles lifted above their head
- Work in tight spaces as dictated by the vehicle's needed repair
- Have the needed dexterity in order to efficiently use hand tools
- Walk/stand for the majority of their workday
- Drive manual transmissions vehicles
- Efficiently navigate a computer
