Job Summary
Diagnose and fix vehicles for guests using ODIS, VCDS, or equivalent diagnostic systems while completing full, accurate, and honest courtesy inspections. Build experience across domestic and foreign makes by troubleshooting guest concerns quickly, collaborating with the service department to meet deadlines, and promoting high standards of safety and cleanliness. Work in tight spaces, lift over 100 pounds, and stand for the majority of the day. Requires 5+ years of professional automotive experience with 2+ years specializing in European vehicles and ASE certifications preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Positive attitude and a desire to serve guest
- 5+ years of professional automotive technician experience, with a minimum of 2 years specializing in European vehicles at a dealership or independent Euro shop
- Proficient with ODIS, VCDS, or equivalent diagnostic and programming systems
- Capable of diagnosing and repairing all makes/models of vehicles
- Aptitude for learning additional skills and processes
- Professional appearance and strong communication
- A desire for long-term career development
- Occasionally lift and/or move over 100 pounds
- Be able to work with tools on vehicles lifted above their head
- Work in tight spaces as dictated by the vehicle's needed repair
- Have the needed dexterity in order to efficiently use hand tools
- Walk/stand for the majority of their workday
- Drive manual transmissions vehicles
- Efficiently navigate a computer
