Europe Communications Manager

Europe Communications Manager leads and owns Canva’s communications strategy for France, Germany and Spain, shaping priorities and driving a continuous drumbeat of product, technology, corporate, and consumer news in these markets. Responsibilities include building and managing media relationships with reporters across the three markets, managing local agency partners, building and supporting a bench of local spokespeople, and partnering cross-functionally with local sales, growth, and partnerships teams. The role requires connecting global and local narratives to ensure a consistent, culturally relevant message across Europe year-round, with a strong emphasis on securing top-tier coverage, translating complex narratives into locally relevant stories, and operating across multiple markets with pace and autonomy. French language skills are strongly preferred; German or Spanish are an advantage.
