Job Summary
Provide face-to-face psychiatric services to geriatric patients in Skilled Nursing Facilities as part of a SNF Psychiatrist team; assess mental status, diagnose DSM-V disorders, develop and implement treatment plans including psychopharmacology and non-pharmacological approaches; staff clinical cases with psychiatrists; requires Oregon RN/NP licensure and DEA for prescribing controls; 1 year of geriatric psychiatry experience in SNF or acute rehab settings; Spanish language skills a plus. Required Qualifications
- Licensed in Oregon by the Board of Nursing in good standing with a focus in psychiatry
- Licensed by the Oregon Board of Pharmacy in good standing to prescribe controlled substances (possession of a DEA)
- 1 year of Geri Psych Experience
- 1 year providing treatment within Skilled Nursing Facilities and/or Acute Rehab Hospitals
