Job Summary
Case Manager/Peer Support Specialist for the Lane County LEAD Project delivering outreach and intensive case management to individuals suspected of low-level drug offenses and/or prostitution. Responsibilities include engaging participants on the street and at social service facilities, assessing housing and chemical-dependency needs, assisting with funding access (SSI, ABD, VA), helping participants find and maintain housing, developing relationships with LEAD partners, advocating within the criminal justice system, representing Ideal Option at community events, conducting field outreach at partner sites, and providing education about LEAD, medication-assisted treatment, and substance use disorder. Required experience with harm-reduction approaches, advocacy in criminal justice contexts, street-outreach, and proficiency with CRM/EHR systems and HIPAA; must reside in the greater Eugene area and be familiar with local resources.
Required Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree related to social services or behavioral health
- Experience working with street-based sex work
- 1-2 years working with people in recovery providing guidance and support
- Experience with CRM system
- Experience with an EHR system and HIPAA compliance
- Certified Recovery Mentor Certificate or Peer Support Specialist Certification
