Job Summary
EUC Engineer for Vaultex UK, hybrid role based in Warrington with remote work and travel to centres. The role focuses on End User Computing, ensuring end-user support and high system availability, and working with infrastructure teams to resolve issues. Responsibilities include onsite/remotely supporting end users, maintaining IT equipment, troubleshooting technical problems, coordinating with 3rd party suppliers, monitoring the ITSM Jira queue, logging incidents and service requests, procuring IT hardware/software, keeping the CMDB up to date, participating in hardware/software rollouts, mentoring the Service Desk, enhancing onboarding, creating technical documentation and knowledge base articles, and occasional weekend generator tests. Requires strong communication, time management, broad IT knowledge (desktops, infrastructure, networking), IT security awareness, and a collaborative, customer-focused approach.
Required Qualifications
- Broad IT knowledge across a wide range of the IT spectrum (Desktops, Infrastructure and networking)
- Experience of Intune
- Experience of Entra/Active Directory
- Experience of Jira
- Excellent Customer Service
- IT Service Management (ITIL)
- Experience of Microsoft standard software applications
- Experience of Network structure
- Experience of site Infrastructure
- Ability to communicate and escalate tickets/issues where necessary
- Self-motivated with a can-do attitude and takes pride in their work
- Mentor and knowledge share with the Service Desk to improve 1st contact resolution
