Job Summary
Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT processes to extract data from multiple systems and load into target databases or data warehouses. Build and optimize data integration workflows using SAP BODS for data extraction, transformation, and loading. Lead data migration projects, including planning, mapping, testing, and validation of migrated data. Develop SQL queries in SQL Server to support extraction logic and validation. Perform data profiling, cleansing, and transformation to ensure quality. Monitor ETL jobs, troubleshoot failures, and implement automated error handling. Collaborate with business analysts and architects to understand data requirements. Support data modeling, metadata documentation, and lineage tracking. Execute data validation and reconciliation activities. Optimize performance of ETL jobs and database operations. Adhere to data governance, security, and compliance standards. This role supports the HR function of a rapidly growing BPO with opportunities to shape the future of work.
Required Qualifications
- Min 2.5 Years Of Proven Experience as an ETL Developer, Data Integration Specialist, or similar data engineering role
- Strong hands-on experience with SAP BusinessObjects Data Services (BODS) for ETL development
- Proficiency in SQL Server, writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning
- Familiarity with relational database concepts and administration
- Experience with data migration projects, including extracting, validating, and transforming large datasets
- Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL best practices
- Comfortable troubleshooting data pipelines, resolving data inconsistencies, and ensuring data integrity
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills

- Perform data profiling, cleansing, and transformation to ensure quality and adherence to business rules
- Monitor ETL jobs, troubleshoot failures, and implement automated error handling and recovery mechanisms
- Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and application teams to understand data requirements and deliver scalable solutions
- Support data modeling and metadata documentation related to ETL processes
- Maintain and document data lineage and integration flows in technical documentation and internal tooling
- Execute data validation and reconciliation activities to ensure accuracy of data movement and transformation
- Assist in the setup and maintenance of database environments, including SQL Server and related administration tasks
- Provide support for data delivery to reporting/analytics platforms and BI tools
- Optimize performance of ETL jobs, SQL queries, and database operations for efficiency and scalability
- Participate in code reviews, standards enforcement, and continuous process improvement
- Adhere to data governance, security, and compliance standards during all stages of data handling
