Job Summary
Create and support data load processes via SSIS and database refreshes, designing ETL programs to extract data from transactional systems and load it into the Data Warehouse. Develop and manage schema data models across all warehouse environments while performing detailed data analysis to determine structure, content, and quality. Generate technical design documentation including database models and ETL specifications, and maintain mappings of data sources, movement, and interfaces to ensure data quality. Communicate requirements and design specifications clearly in both verbal and written forms. Complete all required training and adhere to a Monday through Friday schedule.
Required Qualifications
- BA/BS in Computer Science or related field
- 5 years of experience and proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server 2005/ 2008 R2/2012/2014
- Knowledge of ETL processing
- Hands on experience with ETL data integration, enrichment, consolidation and aggregation; capture and transformation; error handling
- High-level development skills and experience with Complex T-SQL
- Experience with Data Warehousing Methodology and best practices
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical documents
- Regular and predictable attendance
Desired Qualifications
- BA/BS in Computer Science or related field is preferable
- Equivalent combination of experience, education and training
- SSIS Technology
- Kimball preferred
- Experience and familiarity with the following: MS Office Products, MS CRM, MS Project, MS Visio, MS PowerPoint, and MS Team Foundation Server (TFS)
