Job Summary
The procurement associate is responsible for research, provision, and analysis of spend, supplier, and market data to support procurement, contract, supplier management, category management, and supply chain management. This role involves managing the procurement process from initiation to contract award, driving the improvement of strategic supplier relationships, conducting detailed analysis of existing contract structures, and designing category strategies to drive value. Candidates should have knowledge of procurement processes, data analysis skills, and experience in working with ERP or procurement systems.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, procurement
- 2-3 years or more of procurement or supply chain experience
- Knowledge of end-to-end procurement processes, including supplier relationship management
- Data analysis and data-driven procurement decisions
- Knowledge of techniques and processes of strategic sourcing
- Ability to make data-driven procurement decisions
- Commitment to ethical and sustainable procurement practices
Desired Qualifications
- Certifications in relevant fields would be advantageous
- Master’s degree in engineering, Business Management / Administration or equivalent from an accredited university is a plus
