Job Summary
Conduct privacy reviews, data subject rights responses, and regulatory inquiries while supporting ventures and acquisitions due diligence. Draft, design, and improve compliance processes and templates to implement global data privacy laws, and coordinate with stakeholders to collect process requirements. Act as a project manager for new initiatives, perform local country risk assessments, and monitor legal developments to prepare internal guidance and training materials. Draft internal support documents and negotiate data privacy schedules for contractual arrangements. Serve as tier 1 support to inquiries, escalate issues appropriately, and build credibility within the Legal team. Requires a law degree with 3–4 years of experience and IAPP certification.
Required Qualifications
- Law degree
- 3–4 years of experience in data privacy
- Understanding of regulatory principles governing data privacy at a global level
- Fluent in English
- Excellent written, oral, and presentation skills
- Ability to understand and design process flows and metrics
- Sound judgment in applying company policies, identifying risks, and escalating issues in a timely manner
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a fast‐paced environment
- Excellent time management, prioritization, and analytical skills
Desired Qualifications
- IAPP certifications, such as CIPP/E or similar
- Proficiency in Microsoft SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- PowerBI proficiency
- Skilled in legal research, including the use of GenAI tools
- Effectively stakeholders management skills, including experience with senior leadership
