Job Summary

Responsible for overseeing AI compliance, governance, and risk assessment within the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency's AI initiatives, ensuring ethical standards are met in AI model and system development.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in AI/ML, Data Science, Ethics in Technology, or a related field; additional years of experience may be substituted.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in AI/ML system validation, assurance, or responsible AI frameworks.
  • Proficiency in Python for building analysis scripts, validation pipelines, and reporting tools.
  • Experience conducting model evaluations, fairness audits, and compliance assessments.
  • Understanding of IV&V methodologies, bias detection techniques, and ethical risk assessment frameworks.

Desired Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in AI/ML, Data Ethics, or a related discipline.
  • Experience with Bias/fairness metric design and ethical AI risk frameworks (e.g., NIST AI Risk Management Framework).
  • Building IV&V pipelines and model governance dashboards in NGA CORE or similar NGA/Intelligence Community (IC) secure data environments.
  • Contributing to or leveraging open-source responsible AI or audit frameworks.
  • Familiarity with geospatial data governance, data curation, and lineage enforcement.
  • Active Top Secret clearance and SCI eligibility.

Additional Requirements

  • U.S Citizenship
  • Eligibility to obtain TS/CI security clearance.
