Job Summary
Integrate MCAL, BSW, RTE, and SWC components into AUTOSAR Classic Platform projects or develop Flash Bootloaders on specific targets. Execute software development, integration, and testing based on customer requirements while handling tickets for new features, issues, and change requests. Debug and maintain software on Real and Virtual ECUs via TCP/IP or automotive protocols, providing effort estimation for project planning. Work directly with German, Chinese, Korean, and Japanese clients, occasionally traveling to customer sites. Mentor junior team members and document user guides and test results.
Required Qualifications
- Major in Computer Engineering/ Electrical-Electronics/ Telecommunication/ Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent
- 2-3 years of experience in embedded software development
- Good knowledge of micro-controller, processor and embedded system
- Have experience in bare metal programming in embedded systems (C programming skills)
- Have experience in Embedded software development (C/C++ programming skills)
- Design methodology using OOAD, UML and design patterns
- Experience in Software Development Life-cycle
- Exposure to emulators, simulators, debugging and test equipment
- Exposure to Real Time Operating System (RTOS)
- Good communication skills, able to interact professionally with a diverse group of clients and staffs
- Good analytical skills
- Be able to work independently or with minimum supervision
- Good English communication skills
- Have several chances to travel to customer sites for business purpose
Desired Qualifications
- Automotive communication protocols know-how, e.g. Ethernet/SOMEIP/CAN/ LIN/ Flexray and Classic AUTOSAR architecture & methodology should be advantages
- It'd be a big advantage if you have experience in Flash bootloader development
