Job Summary
Physical Therapist (PT) for ESY in Wilkes-Barre, PA. Responsibilities include implementing specialized therapy per the student’s IEP, administering PT assessments to determine functioning relative to age/placement, analyzing and applying assessment data to inform instructional planning, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure continuity of services, serving on the school’s MDT/IEP teams, maintaining required documentation, and performing duties as assigned. Qualifications include a Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy, active PA PT license, 1 year of pediatric/educational experience, computer proficiency, ability to complete district-standard documentation, and current clearances. This is a part-time ESY role with schedule from 8:45am-12:15pm, 6/29/2026-8/6/2026, located in Wilkes-Barre, PA, serving a K-12 school-based caseload. W2 or 1099 arrangements available; competitive compensation based on education and experience. Required Qualifications
- Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited university
- Active Pennsylvania Physical Therapy License
- Must have at least 1 year consecutive experience treating children and/or adolescents in an educational setting
- Must be comfortable using a computer
- Must be able to complete clinical documentation to school district standards
- Current clearances (within 6 months)
- W2 or 1099 position with competitive compensation based on education and experience
