ESY Physical Therapist (PT)

ESY PT sought to implement specialized therapy within a local intermediate unit for Extending School Year, serving K-12 students in a school-based caseload. Responsibilities include implementing therapy per the student’s IEP, administering assessments to gauge functioning relative to age and educational placement, analyzing and using data to guide instruction, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team (special education staff, teachers, other providers) to ensure continuity of services, serving on school-based teams and offering consultation to staff and parents, maintaining required documentation, and performing other appropriate duties. Qualifications include a Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy, an active PA Physical Therapy license, at least 1 year of pediatric/educational experience, proficiency with computers, ability to complete district-standard documentation, and current clearances.
