ESY Occupational Therapist

Conduct thorough assessments using pertinent instruments and develop specific performance objectives to meet individual needs of students with disabilities. Collaborate with classroom teachers and school staff to implement therapy by suggesting daily activities, while maintaining ongoing records of referred, screened, and eligible students. Serve as a resource to school staff for balanced program development and provide information and support to parents and families. Attend team meetings, write goals and objectives, and participate in progress monitoring with each report card cycle. Maintain professional competence through professional development events and self-generated activities meeting district expectations.
