Job Summary
Nurses needed to work with K-8 students in a therapeutic day school environment. Responsibilities include providing direct supervision in classrooms, groups, and community outings, while maintaining a safe therapeutic educational setting. Candidates must hold a valid RN license in Massachusetts and a baccalaureate degree in nursing. Experience with students facing academic, behavioral, and emotional challenges is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Valid license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Massachusetts
- Minimum of a baccalaureate degree in nursing from an accredited program
- Work toward specialty certification by a nationally recognized professional nursing organization
- Maintain certification in cardio-pulmonary resuscitation and First aid
- Must be computer literate
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working with students in a school setting with academic, behavioral and/or emotional challenges
- Experience with learning or developmental disabilities or autism
