Job Summary
Conduct daily auto claims adjustments by organizing files to minimize closure time, negotiating physical damage equitably, and controlling expenses through proper repair management. Promptly negotiate bodily injury claims using Meds Incurred and Open Meds Releases to meet cash out and closing percentage targets. Apply Claims Best Practices in file handling to satisfy monthly unit audits and file reviews, while conveying quality decisions to customers and peers. Resolve claims in an equitable fashion with minimal management intervention, utilizing knowledge of tort laws and state fair claims practice acts. Requires 2 years of prior adjusting experience, a high school diploma, and proficiency in Microsoft Access and AS 400 systems. Flexible work from home options available.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- At least 2 years' experience handling automobile claims
- demonstrated ability to resolve bodily injury claims quickly and efficiently
