Job Summary
Oversee procurement processes, obtain equipment quotes, and assist in budget preparation and cost estimation for public and private projects. Collaborate with Project Managers to define project requirements, scope, and goals, acting as a liaison between teams, owners, engineers, and municipalities. Monitor project progress, address issues, and assist in removing roadblocks to maintain timelines and quality standards. Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including design reports, flowcharts, schedules, and action plans. Ensure projects adhere to relevant regulations and standards while assisting in the development of system specifications and designs. Track working hours, plans, and expenses to support the project management team.
Required Qualifications
- Strong preference for applicants with previous experience for a manufacturer or supplier of pumping or other fluid handling/treatment systems
- Experience in estimation and/or project management
Desired Qualifications
- Engineering backgrounds such as civil engineering, mechanical engineering, civil construction
- Familiarity with water/wastewater treatment processes and equipment, electrical controls, pumps, estimating, and/or sales
