Job Summary
Estimator for Blooming Glen Contractors Water & Wastewater Services Division in Skippack, PA. Responsible for planning, scheduling, and monitoring project costs for water and wastewater projects, including pumps and treatment facilities; reads blueprints and specifications; coordinates with project engineers; prepares schedule updates, change orders, RFIs, submittals, and processes vendor and supplier invoices and purchase orders; maintains project schedules to deliver on time and within budget; requires strong knowledge of the water and wastewater industry and proficiency with MS Office and scheduling/accounting software.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university OR one year of related experience and/or training
- Ability to read blueprints and job-related documents
- Ability to utilize accounting and scheduling software for project management
- Strong knowledge of water and wastewater industry
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Basic computer skills including MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to meet physical requirements (movement, lifting, as relevant to job)
- Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered
