Job Summary
Produce detailed cost estimates for painting and coatings projects based on plans, specs, and site conditions. Perform accurate takeoffs independently from construction documents and blueprints. Conduct site visits to assess scope and conditions, while building relationships with clients to identify additional service opportunities and support account growth. Manage a bid pipeline with an expectation of winning $6M or more in projects annually. A Bachelor's degree is strongly preferred, with commercial or industrial experience in the coatings industry being a target, though residential candidates with the right skills will be considered.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ year of experience estimating in the painting or coatings industry
- Demonstrated ability to perform takeoffs and read construction documents without significant oversight
- Ability and interest in developing customer relationships to earn new business
Desired Qualifications
