Job Summary
Prepare accurate and competitive estimates for commercial drywall packages exceeding $1MM by performing detailed quantity takeoffs and cost analysis using On-Screen Takeoff Software. Collaborate with project managers, clients, and subcontractors to gather essential project details while analyzing specifications and drawings for comprehensive bid proposals. Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing for metal stud framing and drywall systems. Manage multiple bids and meet tight deadlines within the Baltimore region for high-end commercial projects.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Estimator in the commercial drywall and/or commercial plaster sector
- Proficiency in On-Screen Takeoff Software
- Strong analytical skills
- Attention to detail
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
- Ability to manage multiple bids
- Ability to meet tight deadlines
