Job Summary
Detail-oriented Estimator/Quantity Surveyor with commercial construction experience to prepare tenders, cost estimates, and project pricing. Responsible for tender analysis, material take-offs, supplier pricing and procurement coordination using BuildTrend (required) and ProcurePro (preferred). Roles include reviewing tender documentation, preparing detailed cost estimates, quantity calculations, budgeting support, procurement planning, maintaining estimating databases, and assisting handover from estimating to delivery teams. Proficiency in BuildTrend and Excel, with strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills; knowledge of Australian construction contracts and tender processes is desirable.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, Estimator, or Cost Planner within commercial construction
- Strong experience conducting material take-offs and quantity calculations
- Ability to interpret architectural, structural, and engineering drawings
- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and commercial awareness
- Ability to manage multiple tenders and deadlines simultaneously
