Estimator-Project Manager

Job Summary
Conduct site visits to review conditions, progress, and project requirements while developing accurate scopes of work and labor/material take-offs. Prepare bid packages by reviewing and submitting supplier and subcontractor proposals, finalizing scope with the Sales Department, and tracking revisions. Manage field operations by ensuring safety protocols are communicated, coordinating material, equipment, and manpower, and attending project meetings. Upon contract award, review pricing, select vendors, apply for permits, and communicate daily project details through the job ticket system. Determine change order scopes, assist with billing and invoices, and work locally or out of state approximately 25% of the time.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in the electrical trade
- 3+ years if estimating experience
- Travel both locally and out of state approximately 25% of the time
- Project coordination experience
- Good communication and organization skills
- The ability to read and understand single line drawings, building blueprints, and specifications
- Valid driver's license
- Be able to work in a fast paced, team environment
- Be able to manage time well
- To be accountable to yourself and your co-workers
Desired Qualifications
- Michigan Mechanical Contractor's License beneficial
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Procore beneficial
- OSHA 30 or 510 certifications are beneficial
