Prepare comprehensive estimates and documentation to support job files while meeting with homeowners to explain the recommended scope and secure signed work authorizations. Coordinate with production, project management, and office teams after the job is signed, documenting site conditions including photos, measurements, and repair requirements. This customer-facing role drives revenue by converting inspection opportunities into signed reconstruction projects for a growing restoration company in Huntingdon Valley, PA. Candidates must combine technical restoration expertise with strong sales skills to guide homeowners through the process and ensure clean hand-offs to operations.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in restoration, reconstruction, estimating, or residential construction
- Ability to inspect residential property damage and identify reconstruction needs
- Proven ability to write detailed reconstruction scopes
- Strong customer-facing communication and sales skills
- Comfort and confidence in requesting signed work authorizations
- Ability to manage multiple estimates and follow-ups simultaneously
- Strong attention to documentation, photo capture, and measurement accuracy
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites within the market
- Professional appearance and consistent follow-through
- Xactimate experience or similar
- IICRC certifications such as WRT, ASD, AMRT, or FSRT
- Experience estimating reconstruction projects
- Familiarity with moisture mapping, drying documentation, and rebuild scopes
- Experience working directly with adjusters
- Prior experience in a residential restoration or reconstruction company
