Job Summary
Estimator responsible for performing all estimating duties, analyzing tender drawings and specifications, inputting estimates in software, and maintaining supplier/subcontractor prequalification. Role requires providing exceptional member service, coordinating with suppliers and subcontractors, and presenting cost plans to clients. Requires 10+ years of commercial, residential, and farm estimating experience; proficiency with Microsoft Office and Seljax estimating software; HABS experience is a plus. Valid driver’s license and successful pre-employment background checks are required; safety policies apply.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years commercial, residential and farm estimating experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, email, internet browsing and estimating software such as Seljax
- Excellent organizational skills and time management
- Ability to work independently in a team environment
- Previous HABS experience would be an asset
- Strong communication skills (oral and written) to present and sell a cost plan to clients
- Valid drivers license with a clean abstract
- Pre-employment background checks will be required; substance and alcohol screening for Safety Sensitive Positions
- Legally eligible to work in Canada
