Read plans, specifications, and bid documents to build complete estimates for civil, foundation, and underground scopes on power infrastructure projects. Perform quantity takeoffs for grading, excavation, concrete, trenching, conduit, and grounding work while collaborating with vendors to develop accurate pricing. Identify gaps, risks, and assumptions before bids are submitted, then help improve estimating tools, processes, and project handoffs as the company grows. This role requires critical thinking, risk identification, and flexibility to manage a demanding bid workload under tight deadlines.
