Job Summary
As the Painting Estimator, prepare accurate estimates for commercial painting projects by reviewing construction documents, developing budgets and schedules, and auditing plans and takeoffs. Coordinate with chief estimator and operations, manage bid proposals and CRM-driven opportunities, and build relationships with clients, vendors, and subcontractors. Collaborate across estimating, project management, and field teams; participate in weekly sales and bid review meetings; adhere to company policies. Proficiency in blueprints and software such as Procore and Microsoft Suite is required; strong communication and teamwork skills are essential.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience overseeing estimation/take-offs in commercial painting or related industry
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints
- Experience using Procore, Microsoft Suite, and other estimating tools
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
- Exceptional interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
