Estimator

Estimator to provide quick, accurate estimates of materials and labor to modify containers based on customer and/or sales drawings, and to manage projects through purchasing, engineering and production. Responsibilities include developing design layouts and sketches, preparing formal quotes, ensuring project profitability and cost control, and communicating with the sister company’s Ops/Engineering/Shop managers. Duties encompass coordinating with vendors/sub-contractors, guiding permitting considerations, building coordinated project plans, supporting customer satisfaction and warranty periods, and assisting in quoting activities for local branch or third-party production. Skills and tools emphasized include AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, knowledge of product lines, and familiarity with building codes (IBC, OSHA) and installation techniques. Working mainly in an office setting with occasional outdoor exposure and limited local/overnight travel; requires a valid driver’s license.
