Job Summary
Prepare accurate and timely cost estimates and quotations based on project inputs, technical drawings, and specifications. Review project documentation to clarify scope, assumptions, and requirements; analyze drawings and manufacturing or execution processes to identify cost drivers, risks, and opportunities for optimization. Collaborate with engineering, production, sales, and project leaders as well as external partners to ensure alignment on scope, timing, and cost assumptions. Maintain up-to-date quotation data and supporting documentation; manage assigned quotations and workload to meet deadlines and quality standards. Support updates to estimates as projects progress and assist with internal handovers; prepare structured data and reports to support decision-making; contribute to continuous improvement of estimating tools, procedures, and data quality.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience
- Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks and AutoCAD; experience with CATIA, Inventor, ProE, Solid Edge is an advantage
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas, data analysis, and structured spreadsheet-based tools used for costing and quotation preparation
- Strong English communication skills (written and verbal) and proven knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
