Estimator - New Century, KS

Estimator responsible for evaluating scope of work, performing quantity takeoffs, and preparing cost estimates for multifamily projects. Typical scope includes exterior/interior door units, trim, door and bath hardware, wire shelving for closets, windows, hollow metal door and frames. Will assist project managers with submittals, change orders, and product management; duties include downloading blueprints, reading specifications, clarifying RFIs with General Contractor, and producing formal quotations for prospective clients. Must review estimates for accuracy, consult with architects/owners/contractors/subcontractors on scope and changes, provide technical support with contract negotiations and change orders, and perform other duties as assigned. Proficient in MS Office; experience with bidding software is helpful but not required. Construction industry experience (Division 6, 8, and 10) is preferred.
