Job Summary
Prepare accurate quantity surveys and estimates for assigned project divisions while soliciting subcontractor quotations and scheduling input. Collaborate with architects and engineers to draft clarifications, attend project meetings, and perform site investigations as assigned. Participate in plan reviews, estimate reviews, and final bid reviews, critically analyzing each aspect to ensure competitive bids and apply appropriate labor rates. Lead small-sized project bids by supervising team members, establishing bidding schedules, and managing kick-off and mid-bid reviews. Identify cost-saving measures, recognize risks, and apply contingency funds when appropriate. Work the hours required to complete tasks assigned by established deadlines.
Required Qualifications
- Associates degree in Architectural Drafting & Estimating
- 3-10 Years of estimating experience
- Knowledgeable of MIC Health and Safety programs and project specific regulations
- Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds at times
- Must be able to travel up to 30% of the time
- Preference for candidates living in the Denver, CO area

- Bachelor's degree in construction management or engineering or equivalent experience
