Job Summary
Prepare accurate quantity surveys and estimates for assigned project divisions. Solicit subcontractor and supplier quotations, confirm project lists, and collaborate with architects and engineers to draft clarifications. Participate in plan reviews, site investigations, and project meetings. When designated as Lead Estimator, supervise bid teams, establish schedules, review owner specifications, and critically analyze estimates to ensure competitive bids. Identify cost-saving measures, optimize construction schedules, and apply appropriate labor rates and contingency funds. Work established hours to meet bid deadlines while adhering to safety protocols and company policies.
Required Qualifications
- Associates degree in Architectural Drafting & Estimating
- 3-10 Years of estimating experience
- Knowledgeable of MIC Health and Safety programs and project specific regulations
- Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds at times
- Must be able to travel up to 30% of the time
- Preference for candidates living in the Denver, CO area

- Bachelor's degree in construction management or engineering or equivalent experience
