Job Summary
Prepare accurate quantity surveys and estimates for assigned project divisions. Solicit subcontractor and supplier quotations, confirm project lists, and collaborate with architects to draft clarifications. Participate in plan reviews, site investigations, and project meetings while examining office procedures to identify cost-saving measures. Lead small-sized bid teams by supervising personnel, establishing schedules, and conducting final reviews two days before bid due dates. Critically analyze estimates to ensure competitive bids, apply appropriate labor rates, recognize risks for contingency planning, and explore options to shorten construction schedules.
Required Qualifications
- Associates degree in Architectural Drafting & Estimating
- 3-10 Years of estimating experience
- Knowledgeable of MIC Health and Safety programs and project specific regulations
- Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds at times
- Must be able to travel up to 30% of the time
- Preference for candidates living in the Denver, CO area

- Bachelor's degree in construction management or engineering or equivalent experience
