Job Summary
Prepare accurate quantity surveys and estimates for assigned project divisions while soliciting subcontractor quotations and scheduling input. Collaborate with architects and engineers to draft clarifications, attend project meetings, and perform site investigations as needed. Participate in plan review and estimate reviews, compile historical cost data, and confirm subcontractor lists. When designated as Lead Estimator, supervise bid teams, establish bidding schedules, and critically analyze estimates to ensure competitive bids by applying appropriate labor rates and construction methods. Identify cost-saving measures, recognize risks, and apply contingency or escalation where appropriate.
Required Qualifications
- Associates degree in Architectural Drafting & Estimating
- 3-10 Years of estimating experience
- Knowledgeable of MIC Health and Safety programs and project specific regulations
- Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds at times
- Must be able to travel up to 30% of the time
- Preference for candidates living in the Denver, CO area

- Bachelor's degree in construction management or engineering or equivalent experience
