Job Summary
Prepare accurate quantity surveys and estimates for assigned project divisions. Solicit subcontractor and supplier quotations, confirm project lists, and collaborate with architects to draft clarifications. Participate in plan reviews, site investigations, and bid team meetings. When designated as Lead Estimator, supervise bid team members, establish bidding schedules, and critically analyze estimates to ensure competitive bids. Review owner specifications, apply labor rates, and recognize risks to apply appropriate contingencies. Work required hours to meet established deadlines while identifying cost-saving measures and efficient paths to success.
Required Qualifications
- Associates degree in Architectural Drafting & Estimating
- 3-10 Years of estimating experience
- Knowledge of MIC Health and Safety programs and project specific regulations
- Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds at times
- Must be able to travel up to 30% of the time
- Preference for candidates living in the Denver, CO area

- Bachelor's degree in construction management or engineering or equivalent experience
